ADHD and executive functions - why reading or homework routines fall apart

If this is you, you’re in the right place:

Daily Frustration

Your child avoids reading or homework like it’s lava & you're at a loss...

You’re stuck in a nightly spiral: prompts, resistance, arguments, meltdown, guilt.

School says “just practise reading more” but nobody tells you how to do that with ADHD.

Your Child is Bright But...

They are bright and chatty yet avoid books, rush through pages or do the bare minimum.

Verbally, they are articulate and intelligent, but when it comes to reading, they seem to struggle.

They may also be on a waitlist & you're stuck waiting for an explanation!

Overwhelm and Guilt

Juggling school, work, and home life, you feel guilty, embarrassed and at a loss because you are not a teacher and you do not fully understand ADHD either.

You’re carrying the emotional load while trying not to crush your child’s confidence.

Inclusive Club exists because you don’t need more pressure. You need support that fits ADHD brains and real family life.

Meet Your Host

Stephanie Batey

I am former English teacher & educational leader with 16+ years of experience in the education sector. Now a neurodiversity consultant delivering training to schools and organisations globally. I am embarking upon a PhD in Education with a focus on ADHD & inclusive practice.

My work brings together:

- Classroom tested literacy strategies

- Current understanding of ADHD and neurodiversity

- Practical tools that fit real family life, not ideal scenarios

A laptop on a wooden table displays a Zoom meeting with a smiling female presenter and several participant video tiles. A notepad, pen, and a cup of tea are nearby. The room is softly lit, with a plant in the background, evoking a welcoming, organised home workspace.

Frequently Asked Questions

What if I can’t make the live masterclass?

No problem. Recordings are available in the portal so you can watch when it suits you. You'll be sent instructions on how to access it as soon as you join.

How do I get the Zoom link?

When you join, the Zoom link is emailed to you immediately, so make sure you check spam.

Can I cancel?

Yes. See our refund policy. In short:

Monthly: Cancel anytime. Access stays until your billing date.

Annual: Annual plan is discounted and non-refundable once started.

Is this for parents or teachers?

Right now it’s built for parents supporting ADHD children with reading and homework. But, teachers are welcome to join.

Is this a course?

It’s a membership with monthly live support and practical resources, so you’re not doing this alone.

Should my child attend with me?

Not recommended - it's aimed at adults.

Does my child need an official diagnosis for me to join?

Absolutely not. We recognise self-diagnosis as much as clinical diagnosis.

Will you offer support on mental health?

I am not qualified to talk about mental health, however, there may be an opportunity for qualified guest speakers in the future.
